Meghan Trainor Debuts with a No. 1 Song & Album
Meghan Trainor debuts 'Title' at No. 1 in America this week with sales of 195,000, according to Nielsen Music.
She is the 13th woman to have scored a No. 1 debut album and a No. 1 debut Single in the US. 'Title' includes her debut smash "All About That Bass," which stayed at no.1 for eight weeks becoming Epic's longest-reigning No. 1 ever, passing the seven-week reigns of Michael Jackson's "Billie Jean" and "Black or White".

Trainor has added a second Hot 100 top 10 from 'Title' as "Lips Are Movin" has reached No. 4. Of the 13 leading ladies above, only five have followed their debut No. 1 single directly with a second top five hit. Trainor is the fifth, after Tiffany, Carey, Aguilera and Beyonce.
"In the year that I have known and worked with Meghan, I've been consistently amazed by the depth of her talent and the incredible craft that she displays in her songwriting and effervescent performances," says Epic chairman and CEO Antonio "L.A." Reid, who signed her to the label nearly a year ago after she auditioned by singing and playing the ukulele. "Meghan has tapped into a positive, infectious groove that cuts across just about every genre that exists in music today."

Happy Birthday Emma Bunton!
Emma Lee Bunton (born 21 January 1976) is a Singer and member of the girl group the Spice Girls formed in the 1990s. She is known as Baby Spice because she is the youngest member.
Bunton's debut solo album, 'A Girl Like Me' was released in the United Kingdom on 16 April 2001 by Virgin Records. The album debuted and peaked at number four on the UK Albums Chart. It was certified gold by the British Phonographic Industry for sales in excess of 100,000 copies in 2001. The album spanned the UK and New Zealand No. 1 single "What Took You So Long?" as well as top hits "What I Am" and "Take My Breath Away" and "We're Not Gonna Sleep Tonight".
Bunton's second album, 'Free Me', was released in 2004 through 19 Entertainment/Universal Records with 4 hit singles including "Free Me", "Maybe", "I'll Be There" and "Crickets Sing for Anamaria". She reunited with the Spice Girls in 2007 for an international tour and greatest hits album. From 2003 to 2012 Emma Bunton Official had a recurring role on the BBC comedy series Absolutely Fabulous. She performed at the 2012 Summer Olympics closing ceremony on 12 August with the Spice Girls.
Bunton's television appearances include being a judge on the ITV skating show 'Dancing on Ice' and the ITV entertainment series 'Your Face Sounds Familiar'. She has guest hosted a number of shows including GMTV, Lorraine and This Morning Summer.
